I painted a similar picture 3 or 4 years ago and after seeing it again I really wanted to give it another attempt!

An underwing is a species of moth that has a bright orange pair of under wings. I think they’re really interesting. I’ve never seen one before. It was fun to paint! Final painting will be trimmed, mounted to board and framed with a wire on the back. Painting must dry and cure before shipping 5 to 6 weeks.
When we moved back to West Virginia we hadn’t had a green space for any plants in a long time, so we really went crazy that first year.
